I just got my hands on Ministry of Sound - Addicted to Bass 2009. I had high hopes for this 3 CD set.
I have been let down.
It's starts strong (fr two tracks)but quickly loses steam as it moves into cheesy, treble heavy, vocal heavy radio style pap... and I doesn't recover until you're well into CD #3.
Ugh. I was looking for a fix, and all I got was bunk, so to console myself I queued up "Hold Your Colour" and turned my subwoofer to 11.5.
So FSTDT, what do you recommend for a girl who wants nothing more than to feel the bass pulping her flesh and shattering her bones?

All depends on what kind of bass. I have drones, noise, and a metric fuckton of psytrance I can send you.

Try finding some stuff by Noisia? Here's an example, if you pardon the geekiness of the video content (Eve Online), but the music is good. I don't usually listen to a lot of drum 'n bass, but depending on the genres, I might be able to help out with other stuff. Psytrance stuff, there's Melicia, Juno Reactor, Peace Orchestra, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, etc... Big beats, you have Overseer, Prodigy, etc. Again... specifics are needed to narrow down search criteria

Mostly, what I want is pendulum, but not pendulum. that's pretty much what I'm looking for at the moment: Big, loud, NASTY, speaker breaking bass. Fat, sweaty beats that leave you shaking and screaming for more.
Any tracks you can recommend? I'm familiar with the artists so far listed, but I need help to find specific tunes that will cause my neighbors to all the cops. Seriously, I don't feel like paging through 600gb of mp3's on the server here.
I lack patience and just want the thump.
