I don't either, but the guy holding the sign is kinda cute, if you like the chubby bearish sort.

I think the "give peace a chance" and "bush is a dictator" bits were trying to be sarcastic... but I can't tell... they won't even make un-sense to my brain. O.o They were, indeed, supposed to be sarcastic. The slogans & signs came out ca. 2003/4, when a lot of fundie liberals were frothing at the mouth over Iraq and Afghanistan. Although a small group compared to the liberal movement as a whole, they were so vocal and had such a stranglehold on the media that they made every liberal seem like a walking clusterfuck. I kid you not when I say that we actually had people here in the US volunteer to go over to Iraq and serve as human shields for Hussein's remaining military hardware in order to keep war from happening.A lot of people who leaned conservative just simply got pissed at seeing these people clogging the airwaves, and so reacted accordingly. The fact that some of the leading media darlings of the time ended up having massive meltdowns didn't help either. For example, Cindy Sheehan got so pissy over the media focusing on Hurricane Katrina instead of her that she made a posting to Daily Kos wherein she decried Katrina & Rita as "a little wind and a little rain" and thus nothing worth getting upset over. Kos, despite being so hard-core liberal it'd put this site to shame, unilaterally handed her an epic beatdown of the type normally only seen when someone pisses off "b" .

I guess the joke is Hadrosaurs are renowned as "honking Dinosaurs", some species having elaborate head bones allowing their honking to be heard for miles). I think it's somewhat clever ( I love stupid puns) though I also understand that explaining the joke means I probably ruined it. And yeah the guy is cute in a goth/bear sorta way.

Well they're sarcastic in the sense that they're mocking liberal slogans. They came from this site: www.protestwarrior.com/They specialize in counter-protests against liberals. It was founded by a couple of Israeli-born conservatives. (My conservative friends all wear clothing from the site.)

I don't get this one... I've been look for a source, and I can't find one, but I remember reading in Jurassic Park that the hadrosaurs made honking noises. I assume that's what the sign is referring to.

The slogans & signs came out ca. 2003 /4, when a lot of fundie liberals were frothing at the mouth over marching to oppose the illegal invasion of sovereign Iraq and Afghanistan. Considering that one rally has gone down as the largest in history, occuring simultaneously in several cities worldwide and with tens of millions of attendees, that movement you talk of must contain billions of people. It must be absolutely huge. Wonder why we never get our way? We had such a stranglehold that we literally could not get our views aired on television, in radio or in print. Print media was too busy printing erroneous stories by Judith Miller, TV actually allowed paid Army stooges to lie to the public and radio has Rush Limbaugh. Phil Donahue was fired for being liberal, even though he was the most popular show on MSNBC. Nobody questioned anything, nobody investigated anything, all the media did was repeat. That's how much of a stranglehold liberals had over the media- a negative one. It's certainly easy to make you think that. I don't think they stood around millitary sites, I think they stood in cities and the like, although I'm happy to be proven wrong. But I don't see anything wrong with that. The war was clearly wrong, both legally and morally; it was going to kill at least tens of thousands (the number ended up in the millions), it was going to trash the place, ect. Anything that stopped that from happening seems to be alright.

Is it me or do they look like evil versions of the Rice Krispies mascots? Why the hell would you want to advertise that you're proud of being an ignorant bigot? And JihadWatch is so racist and out-there that even Little Green Footballs thinks they're nuts. Those bumper stickers are the ultimate in TL;DR.
