My high school mascot was/still is the Dysart Demons. As far as I know no ones bitched about it. My HS mascot was the Blue Devils. I never heard anyone make a comment about it. Heck, the mascot of Wake Forest University (a Baptist - I think - university) are the Demon Deacons. |

She saw a bumper sticker and called my mother in hysterics, yelling about how "Them Satanists are just being OPEN about it now!" |
