Because it's women's duty to act in a way of men's choosing, and men won't treat them with respect until such time as they do.

Grrr. Did I tell you about my bus driver who has complained about how telling a woman she looks good is sexual harassment and has bitched at men who didn't offer their seats to persons with boobs?

People were posting this on my FB as sorta protest sign: I just try and act respectful to most people. If others choose not to respect me in return, I will simply give them a modicum of time, as is required and move on. Life's too short, ya know?

Am I the only one who finds the trend of calling women "females" kinda offensive? I find it a bit dehumanizing.

"Female" is an adjective, "Woman" is a noun.
The only time that a woman should be referred to as a "female" is when the word is describing another noun.
"X is a female." (Not "technically" incorrect, but very rude and dehumanizing) "X is a woman." (correct) "Female doctor" (correct) "Woman doctor" (incorrect, and I almost cringe every time I hear it.)

To me, it sounds like they're talking about (non-human) animals, when they call women "females." In my head I hear a british nature show narrator, "The females of this species are docile by nature, whereas the males are aggressive battle for dominance."
It's not as obviously insulting as "bitch" but IMHO it carries the same kinds of implications (at least the way some people use it).

Someone scrawled "Capitalism" on a stop sign I walk by somewhat frequently. I kinda want to take a sharpie with me one day and add "Irresponsible" to it.

I dislike capitalism, but calling it organized crime? Why?
Sounds like a feminazi.
