I rather like the lists of things mainstream scientists apparently can't explain.

I don't understand how people could believe such things.

Holy run-on sentences, Batman! Strange use of the second person at the end there; the writer seems to be implying that evolutionary theory suggests that everyone but himself evolved from simpler organisms. I'm not going to go into the conflation of evolution and abiogenesis or the fact that evolutionary theory doesn't postulate morphing of any kind because I'm sick of making that point.

Science has already explained fairly well all the points he lists that "science hasn't figured out yet." And the things science has not figured out yet certainly doesn't mean that "Goddidit." But do Meacham or rabid atheists Christopher Hitchens or Bill Maher address these issues which confound mainstream science, however which are nicely answered with the biblical intelligent design creationist global flood model? Why of course they don’t, because mainstream scientists, out in front for these left wing journalists, can’t cogently address these issues with their seriously flawed model, put to shame by the answers provided with the biblical model, so I hope these guys interview or debate me, it would be fun, and they can even bring along their favorite scientists.I would pay to see this if it were to happen. Seeing this guy sitting there holding his ass would be priceless.

What the fuck is this? have they finally gotten tired of pretending intelligent design, creationism and YEC aren't just more palatable versions of the same bullshit and combined them into one super-stupid?

What a looney!
What a ten year old knows: 1/. Mainstream scientists have names and don't pull figures like 99% out their ass. 2/. The mountains in question are formed by tectonic plates pushing against each other, and in fact they used to be the sea floor. The amount of time, location and the quantity of chalk and associated calcinaceous sedimentary rocks present is not possible under YEC timeframes.
1/. Not only are paradoxically warmer oceans NOT the only method to an ice age (which never happened under biblical records, which in itself isn't surprising, being they were written in a tiny window after the last ice age thousands of miles South of it's impact zone), they are not even A method TO an ice age. Cloud cover does not give an ice age. the gulf stream shutting down, the albedo effect, Milankovitch cycles, lack of life, composition of the atmospheric gases are...
[citation please!] 1/. said 'cities'. 2/. said exodus. 3/. said evidence tying into 'bronze age'. 4/. said locations on land bridges that were above water 10,000 years ago. 5/. most importantly, said point???
---Does this even need a comment? Yes the METRE was defined as 1/10,000,000th of the distance between the equator and the North Pole by the fucking French, but it as much as anything was because every man and his dog had their own version of shite, and there were scores of different versions of the cubit, to name just one.
1/. Agreed, they wont tell you that, but it's because lying isn't their thing rather than for what you said. 2/. I seriously cannot be assed listing the problems with the biblical understanding of the natural world, particularly the animal kingdom and its egregious generalisations, assupmtions, oversights, miscategorisations, impossibilities, taxonomical errors or general absurdities.

I really get tired of the false intellectual fundies. They supply normal fundies with so much false ammunition that takes decades to destroy and root out. And no matter what we do, there little misunderstandings of how the world actually works never goes away completely.
Heck, we are still dealing with the after affects of Ray Comforts little banana demonstration that way too many people believed.

Pseudo-Science is the invention of the "intellectual" fundie. What whittles down their statements that the Bible is the absolute truth, is the number of "end-times" - over 500 of them - have all been classic no-shows. The latest of these is July 2009 (3 months to go) It strikes me that ever since god decided to emigrate to america in the 1950's, christian lunacy has deepened expotentially. Tele-Evangelists are with few exceptions, money-grubbing frauds. So why so many christians? I am a christian. Why? Because my parents were christian as were their parents ad infinitum. We're christians because there is a piece of paper saying we are christians and that is as far as it goes. This was a religion that was forced upon us to save the roman empire from collapsing, and as a result, the death toll from us being "saved" is equivalent to 1 needless death per minute over the past 1600 years.
