Zelda: Twilight Princess. Remember those monsters that you had to kill at the same time, or they'd scream and res the others? That sound.... Most horrible sound ever, followed by the twilight realm 'birds'. Oh God...how they 'honked'. In fact, I have a fear of pretty much everything in the Zelda series, starting with OoT. The first plant that pops up as you go visit the Great Deku tree? The "Enemy Music" has now scarred me. I don't know, I thought the ReDead were a lot worse. That horrible scream and then they would slowly start creeping toward you......I had to be no older than 10 or 11 when I first played it and I HATED those things with a passion. But yeah, inside the Deku tree was bad enough too. And under the well......and the Shadow Temple.........and any time at night......... Night stopped bothering me when I got the Bunny Hood. Wear it, and Stalkids don't bother you. As for the Shadow Temple...considering the Market scene alone prevented me from beating OoT for years, the Shadow Temple would have reduced me to a whimpering heap on the floor. The ambience...and the walls in the first room. I know it's supposed to be text written on the walls, but it's almost like the skeletons on the walls are the ones telling you about the Sheikah genocide. Brrrr.

If you all are scared of the Legend of Zelda...In any form...Stay the fuck away from Silent Hill. Your fragile minds will snap and break.

If you all are scared of the Legend of Zelda...In any form...Stay the fuck away from Silent Hill. Your fragile minds will snap and break. Dude, even E-rated games have creepy moments. For example, in Pokemon, Cubone wears its mother's skull as a hat. Think for a moment how fucked in the head you have to be to think your own mother's skull is an acceptable form of headwear. AND THIS IS IN A KIDS' GAME.

Yes, Silent Hill on the the whole is a lot creepier. But you can't deny that Zelda games have their share of nightmare fuel. There's a whole TV Tropes entry on it, for crying out loud: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/NightmareFuel/THELEGENDOFZELDA

The ReDeads in Windwaker. I couldn't beat it without my older brother's help when I was little because those screams terrified me. They still scare me now as an adult but at least I know how to beat them without hearing them. Hearing the floormasters freak me out too.
In Persona 3 while exploring Tartarus, hearing Mitsuru or Fuuka suddenly yell out "I sense Death" and then hearing those chains still make me freak out, panic, then cry in that order while trying to find the stairs or teleport.

I know what you mean. I've beaten it multiple times too, but (most) Zelda games never seem to get old. I never did beat Majora's Mask though. Don't really know why, although it could be because it features one of the stupidest save systems ever. Come to think of it, that game had it's creepy moments as well. The rattling sound the Skull Kid made always unsettled me for some reason.

I didn't play it after watching my bro at it, because I know that if I play Majora's Mask, I will eventually have to fight the Ikana King. Brrrr.

That's really not uncommon. Okay, you have a point. But it at least shows that there are quite a few people that find some aspects of Zelda games creepy.

Indeed. I was gonna break out TV Tropes if anyone questioned me, too.
Of course, maybe that's just to capture someone in a trap of endless link-clicking revenge.

The scions in ME2. After Horizon and the disabled Reaper mission, that DSH DSH DSH DSH sound their shockwave attack had made me spaz out.
Also, that rasping noise the husks make, and the sounds of the AI on the Overlord DLC. I play with headphones, and it's so much louder than everything else and comes on at random times.
Yeah, I just played Mass Effect again.
