That would explain why I've never heard of anyone being infected by salmonella and E. coli through gay sex. A pathogenic E. coli strain will cause the classic 24-48 hour tummy bug (and is I believe the leading cause of those) if you swallow it, typically in contaminated food, not any other way. (And if you've got it, you're very, very unlikely to be in the mood for the activity they're alluding to. For obvious reasons.) A very few such as O157:H7 are more dangerous - still extremely unlikely to kill or permanently harm a healthy adult - but are thankfully rare.

That's true, I forgot about that... probably since I'm not going to be putting anything into a vagina anyways. Still, I think the fundie claims about the horrors of anal sex are quite exaggerated. Ilike vaginas as well as want one, so I tend to pay attention. But yeah. And I agree, they have totally blown it out of proportion. If anal sex was that dangerous, simply going to the bathroom would be a life threatening situation.

I also feel like mentioning that a lot of straight guys like anal sex. If my friends are any indication, 100% of them. Of course, they're not, but I have to make the crack at their expense (Hell, I discovered this because I jokingly said anyone who likes anal sex is gay). But more than a few, and women can get pleasure from anal sex (I know one girl who claims she can have an orgasm from it). The point I'm making is that it's not even limited to gays. Hell, teens do it to avoid losing their virginity (which is ironic), so you'd think we'd be in the middle of a buttsecks-related epidemic if this was even remotely true. But then, even if that was true, the fundies would probably say that everyone who got sick from anal sex was secretly gay (Like how everyone who gets AIDS is gay in so many of their minds). I'd be more worried about STDs, and straight sex spreads enough of those. Condoms aren't 100% effective, but I doubt much of that "e coli" will be making it through even if the condom tears. And while I'm thinking of it, lesbian sex is far safer. So shouldn't it be encouraged?

Uh, what's the *deal* with these guys and teh buttsecks?
Yeah, anal rape is *really* *fucking* *bad* in ways I can't even begin to describe, not the least of which is that rape is fucking humiliating, no matter the orifice.
I can understand not *liking* teh buttsecks, but (I assume) they're free to choose *not* to engage in it -- amirite?
But if you get off on taking it up the ass, that's fine by me. If you get off on putting it *in* the ass, that's fine, too; RESPECT THAT I DO NOT WANT.
So, *why* are they fucking *obsessed* wif teh buttsecks?

*blinks*
Why do you bring up rape all of a sudden?

*blinks* Why do you bring up rape all of a sudden? Because they're always going on about how the evil gays want to anally rape all the straight guys and "convert" them. (If you ask me, they're projecting their fantasies...) The Fundtards don't understand the concept of consent, which you'd know if you read *any* of their drivel!

The scary thing is it's always the guys nobody would touch who thinks every queer wants to get up in their ass. I'm pretty sure the only reason a lot of these guys get wives is because of that Biblical imperative. Find a nice, broken woman who believes its her job to be subserviant to someone with a penis...

You noticed that, too. ::sigh:: I could understand it, to a degree, if it were the *pretty* boys getting worried, but maybe they've also got more confidence and self-esteem, and aren't hung-up on homosexuality. Who knows?

Isn't E.Coli FOUND in feces? Perhaps, but contrary to fundie belief Teh Ghey !=Coprophilia Also, many anti-gays seem to be unaware that there are other ways for gay men to have sex that do not involve the dick going into the ass. And most of them seem to ignore lesbians completely.

I've never seen why everybody likes George Clooney. He just doesn't seem that attractive. Is it the silver?. Personally I think Ryan Reynolds should get more attention. Google Images him!

I don't see it either, but it's a common prevailing view. Plus, it was fresh on my mind because one of my e-buddies has a major mancrush on him.
