Other, because while I believe in polls, it is important to understand the other side of the argument.

This is similar to free will, it all depends on your definition. My definition requires polls to have been created by the great Argleglorp, God of polls. This poll obviously exists thus proving the existence of Argleglorp!
Argleglorp demands sacrifice!

Other, clearly Polls are merely a measurement of how quickly a group of pharyngulites will crash it.

The real question is: Which came first, the statistician or the poll? (assuming that either actually exists)

No, not really. As it is stated in the alternatives, there is no need to believe. They are measurements, and one particular poll exists much in the same way that a certain distance exists. Do polls tell the truth? Now that's a matter of faith. I am not a believer.

On a less metaphysical level, does anyone else see taking a poll as an excuse to entirely bullshit? Because God knows I do. Seven out of ten eighteen-year-old Nova Scotians are virgins, my ass.

Depends on how scientifically rigorous the actual polling was. 89% of statistics are made up, and it's pretty easy to misrepresent the ones that aren't.
