I just read a quote on a forum that seemed perfect for FSTDT, but I don't know if I can sumbit it:
There's two problems:
First of all, the quote was the poster (named Koikon) talking about a conversation by this crazy guy he knew at school (who's name is supposedly Dirk). Koikon was sane, but Dirk was going into fundie christian homophobia and sounding absolutely hilarious/stupid while doing it. Can I still submit it even though Koikon wasn't the one making the fundie statements?
Second, the particular forum is set up so that you cannot see any posts or topics in it without signing into an account. So even though I can provide a link, it will be useless anyway except for anyone who has an account.
With these two things in mind, I don't know if I should submit this or not.

The second makes it a deal breaker due to not being able to verify. The first part is okay. I often see submissions that use, for example a newstory with a person being quoted in it as the submission.

I think I've seen a couple quotes where a screen cap was used to verify the source, though I'd imagine that you'd have to get approval from a mod just to be sure, and so they can add a note to the top of the quote to let people know that you have approval. It is possible that the site no longer accepts screen caps, however.

I'm not exactly sure where else to put this. I don't want to shaft the guy who made the thread, but I have something I would like to submit as well.
I go to an internet school named Alpha Omega Academy, and whilst it isn't particularly fundie most of the time, it...well, has its moments.
I can pull quotes and images from the lessons, however, I am unable to verify them by posting the URL. Albeit, I do have the XPS files, which are direct copies of the pages.
I'd put an image up as an example, but I'm unsure of how...

I'll clear this up then, I don't like image submissions. Those in the past that I approved were due to modification after the fact by the source, in cases when someone happened to have a shot of it.
They won't get approved simply because it's to easy to fake them. While the odd poe gets through, I'd rather avoid completely fabricated quotes.

Alright, sounds good. Thanks for letting me know.
If you want, for sake of enjoyment at my cost (After all, this is from my school), would it be alright to post images in a thread? (I'd have done it earlier if I knew how..)
Or, barring that, I still have the XPS files from some of my lessons, if you wish.
I came across the site a few days ago, and didn't exactly know if you guys had anything from an actual homeschool yet, so I figured I'd try to fill the void.

I don't mean to necro the thread, I know it's been more than 10 days...But, I don't exactly know where else to put this.
Would it be alright to post the XPS files or the images in the forums? So that those who haven't been homeschooled know what the lessons and whatnot look like?
As I said before, I really don't mean to be a bother and please ignore this if it doesn't seem relevant to anything.

Sounds like Distind didn't want them submitted to the main page. If you think people would be interested in it make a thread here on the forums.

Alright, not sure how to link or attach images, can try to attach the XPS files.
Not sure which area of the forum to do that either, sadly.
Either way, if you guys want, I'll try to upload a saved lesson or two.

You'll probably need to link to the images. The forums only allow uploads to be a megabyte.

Alright, I'll attempt to figure out the internet fiddly bits to get that working correctly. Would it be alright if I went ahead and added one of the XPS files to see if it's worth putting on the forums? EDIT: Ah, screw it. This is from a lesson on presuppositions in my Science curriculum last year. I'll upload the lesson if you guys think it's worth it.
