Yeah just saw on MSN that Bea Arthur just died. I know of quite a few people who will be sad.
Ironbite-may she find the light she couldn't find in this life.

When I saw the phrase "dead at 86" I was hoping it was someone I hated, but alas, it is not so...

I read about this earlier. I was so sad! Last year Estelle Getty (Sofia) died. It stinks, I loooove the Golden Girls. Sofia and Dorothy had the funniest relationship.
Rest in peace, Bea.

Deadpool has been reported to be on suicide watch.
Ironbite-not that it matters as he just can't die.

Such a funny lady and talented actress! This may give me a reason to go back and look at her work, films and things I have not seen, so I can truly appreciate her contributions.

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
She was a great actress, and I loved her on Golden Girls.

I STILL watch the Golden Girls and laugh out loud....
She was also quite the trooper at the Friar's Club roasts - took a lot of gaff for being so masculine, but laughed it all up- "I wouldn't fuck you with Bea Arthur's dick."
She will be missed.

Bea Arthur was one heck of a comedic actress, and her work will stand for a long time to come. Here's to a great lady of the comedy stage.

Am I the only one here who remembers her on "All in the Family"? She played so well off of Archie Bunker.
