What exactly does Beck expect the Met to do? Literally do construction and renovation work around the painting itself and risk damaging or destroying it in the process? Ah, who am I kidding. That's probably EXACTLY what Beck expected and if it got damaged in the process, well then he'd still get his excuse to bitch and profess his hatred for the Met. It would be a win-win for him.  |
