Can we threaten them with real stuff now? Like zombies?

I know what fate I want them to meet: to be tortured to death by their own families.

Why's that? The bone hive was the most horrifying thing I've ever heard of. Who is Dr. Clef? You haven't heard of The Mother, or The Flesh That Hates then. ...or The Old Man. Trust me there are far more squicky SCPs out there.... Oh god, The Mother. That is just so wrong on so many levels, but damned if I can provide more reasons than primal fear of it.

Yeah. While the Bone Hive makes me shudder, it just doesn't evoke the same kind of fear as The Mother. I don't know why, dammit!

The Mother didn't scare me, just squicked me out. I made my own 2 days ago about a disease-causing MRI machine but it wasn't well recieved lol, too similar to 192. You know why don't we cease all pretention and just stick them in with 682 and be done with it.

It's okay, Ita. Most people have their first SCP deleted. Takes time to learn the style. Even Bright and Gears have had articles deleted. Happens to everyone.
Well, not me, but I'm awesome like that.

Yaaa, I was a bit butthurt for a few hours cause I'm hyper-sensitive but I'm okay with it now, I didn't really spend a lot of time making it good (I think from conception of idea to edit assistance to posting it was like 4 hours or so not counting the 5-6 hours I took a sleep for) and it was only like 1/3rd completed, I figured I'd get widespread feedback and then make corrections/updates. So I'd like to think it wasn't horrible considering the short creation rate but that's just me. But I've gone and derailed things.
Cain's too nice now... can we just kinda... sic Abel on them?
Or even better, have them sit down for tea with 343.. holy shit we have to do that. Their heads would explode... and lulz would be had by all. I seriously love the idea of using the religious-themed ones because of the implied "fuck you" to them if their icons didn't respond the way they think they would.

I still think The Stairwell is worse. It's just... THAT FACE. It just follows you and stares at you in a dark staircase that is resistant to light. And there's a child yelling for you at the bottom, but the staircase never ends. Alright, here's some more. The Man-Absorbing PhoneIt looks like a normal cordless phone. It's always ringing, and on the other end of the line are a group of people being tortured and screaming for help. Anyone who picks up the phone while they're alone disappears and is transported to the torture room where they join the other victims. Forever. And another one; Cabinet MazeRead the expedition logs.

This thread is now about the SCP Foundation?
I'm cool with that!

I could not make one of these. I hate the way they often drop you off at any detail at all. I would give you details & they'd hate it.
None of those really strike me as scary. The flesh is squicky, but I'm not sure if there's anything particularly terrifying about it...unless it's attacking you.
I'm noticing a lot of these guys seem to have a fascination with cordyceps.
Edit: Okay, the phone might be a contender. Possibly the most chilling thing on the site, though, which I can never seem to find, is that article about how you should screw morals if you work for them.
