My initial impression is that this is alarmist nonsense. Mostly because I took the liberty of doing a preliminary look-see at the "Project 60" website and have found nothing suggesting setting up Chinese-influenced special economic zones within Idaho borders. There was a brief spiel about encouraging foreign investment in the economy, but that's it. I'm not getting how that translates to a "Red Dawn" scenario in the eyes of the "commentators."
Even if that truly was the intent of Idaho's governor- he doesn't exactly have the authority to carve out territory to hand to foreign governments...

Yeah, I'm a bit skeptical as well. Is it even legal to "outsource" American land?

I'm sorry, I didn't include "when people shop at Walmart"...as I didn't think it would be necessary to really point to the cheap trinket style crap they put into stuff that comes here and even their own modern infrastructure

How can a state government sacrifice some of the US federal governments sovereign territory to another country? Is that even possible?
Or is it just a normal lease and is everyone shitting bricks for no good reason?

Apple crap. Sorry, meant to say Apple 'Overpriced shit for pretentious idiots" products are made in China.
That sweatshop factory in northern China where there were a lot of suicides last year was making IPads.
I also have the official US Government Bush-Cheney coffee mugs and ashtray I picked up in Washington a good few years ago. They all have "Made In China" proudly stamped on the bottom.

Said sweatshop also makes Foxconn computers(it is their facility), 360s, PS3s, and various other things I'm forgetting.

I'm reminded of a line Lisa said in an episode of The Simpsons regarding a car. The car was from one country, the parts from another, all assembled in another country, and then sold in the US.
