Incidentally, does anyone know of any good rules I could use for a medieval game? Have been painting up some of the Perry twin's finest creations for a while, would be good to have a fight with them.

Well, that IS Forge World, so its not even in the Tau codex.... Even if Forge World models that ARE in the codex are about $10 more than their non-Forge World versions.

Those aren't standard playing pieces. They're custom-ordered, high-end pieces made to rather exacting standards. Forge World is basically a specialist arrangement for people super into things and with plenty of money to burn on the hobby. Standard vehicles typically cost around USD$30.

I want one. But I don't paint nearly well enough to justify such an expense (even if I had a job where I could afford it).

I want one. But I don't paint nearly well enough to justify such an expense (even if I had a job where I could afford it). Ah, that reminds me! As you can't see it from this angle, the helmet's optics are blue (though I don't know if I took this before I repainted them from red), the detailing on the backpack and the Tau Empire emblem are silver. I'm thinking that I'm going to give Shas'ui white helmets with red antenna, but I still need to paint my other Shas'ui to see if that works well. [/IMG] I painted all the antenna sticking out of his head and shoulder red and the optics are blue, but hard to see due to the poor picture quality. That's the color scheme for my Commander. Normal XV8s have red heads with black antenna. [/IMG] [/IMG] The picture quality is shit since these were taken with my 3DS, but it should show the color scheme rather well.
