I can, but people tend to whine when I do.
But clearly, yes. Obama was calling people bumps in the road. Damn them for inconveniencing him!

It's a little rich for the "don't help people" party to complain about Obama not helping people.

I don't get this. Do these people think that Obama caused unemployment levels? I was unaware the President had that power. Do they honestly think that Obama was referring to people when he used that phrase, or do they realize he was referring to the fact that there are no quick, smooth, or easy solutions to the problems that face us and they are deliberately misinterpreting him?
And I have to agree with Fred here, it is hypocritical and more than a little ironic for the political party that has long advocated NO GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT as the solution for every problem to suddenly blame OBAMA for not getting involved enough.

Now this funny,a republican caring about the unemployed...hey Mitt, you do know that trickle down bs you love so much isn't going to help these folks one bit, and in fact is the main cause of the shit hole we are in, right? oh silly me, I forgot it was the housing crisis.... BTW Mitt, you should be in fucking jail for what you did to that dog of yours, Hey folks lets tie Mitt to the top of a fucking car, speed down the road and see how funny it really is... The sad thing is that he's a sanest of the bunch the GOP has to offer

Bad example, nickiknack. Tying Mitt to the roof and riding around would be hilarious.

Wasn't it his son who did that? And I thought he dragged the poor dog behind the car, not on top of it... which is even more horrific.
edit: Wait, nevermind, I'm mixing this up with someone else's son (Huckabee's kid shot a dog), and a third incident that has nothing to do with any politician's son that I read about a while back on PYSIH. Carry on.

Now this is a PSA! They're 'Murricans not speed bumps, with those accents I would have thought they were from Yorkshire.

I was gonna say that it would be more poignant to say, "We're HUMAN BEINGS, not bumps!", but the sad reality is that the ultra-nationalists he's trying to appeal to are the types of people who see "American" as a step above "human". Y'know, the "ONE 'murrican life is worth ten furreners" crowd.

That's absurd! An American life is worth at least TWENTY foreigners! And FIFTY brown people!

But one 'nadian life is worth a thousand 'murricans. That's like 50,000 brown people. 100,000 if they're Muslims.

Link to info about current value of Canadian vs American dollar, and comment about American educational system, followed by insistence that we were the ones who really invented telephone.

Angry retort questioning parentage and repeated blind assertions that I am correct.
