Crying infants are very very annoying, but the sound of nails on a chalkboard is still worse (at least to me). I have to agree with you on this one. Though, nails scratching over metal is even worse. The place we lived in when I was a preteen had a metal door instead of wood, and my brother used to rake his nails across it to annoy me. Just thinking about that sound makes me shudder. |

I don't like the sound of fingernails across denim. Or the sound of teeth scraping along yarn. It's a squeaky sound that makes me shudder thinking about it.
