Just an idea: (after we get all of the basics back up and running) How about we add a feature that allows users to make their own archive of their favorite quotes? Not sure if you guys have been on Yahoo Answers before, but they've got this feature that allows you to "Star" certain questions if you like them/find them interesting. The "Starred Questions" are put into an archive on your profile so you can view whenever you want. (Not sure how to explain it any better). I thought it would be interesting if we could make our own personal lists of our favorite quotes. We could make the feature available to those who have registered at the forums, that way we'd be benefiting on more than one level (people get to make their own lists, and our numbers increase at the same time). Tell me what you think. Honestly, I like this one, and it wouldn't be terribly hard to implement. It would also give me a bit better method for determining top 100 than just votes of random people/bots from across the net. This weekend's work is devoted to improving the layout, getting some more of the basic functions back, but depending on how much I accomplish, this may be on my list soon.

Another suggestion:
In the search function, there should also be a slot for the name of the person who submitted the quote.
After submitting a fundie-quote, I like to come back after a few days to see what people thought of it. Instead of having to remember the Fundie's name or the board, it would be easier if I could just search for quotes submitted by me. (We have that for comments, but not for actual fundie-quotes.)

I really like this idea too. I've always wondered why there wasn't search box for that. Mostly because I didn't think about it, but having thought about it I could tie it in with a package of other things I'm going to toss together at some point this week. Possibly including the return of awards, if not a system to determine them.

I has a kwestshun: How does this awards thing work, anyway? I came too late to see it! Pretty much I wind up database diving and seting up awards for instance we currently have a 'lying for jesus' award here: fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=60576Of course, ifpeople want to nominate them, feel free. I'll start a thread for it.
