And what you also get is the situation that exists in the Republic of Ireland where women who want to get an abortion will then travel to the nearest country (in this case the UK) to get one performed. It's as stupid an idea as sticking your head in the sand. Or die of hypothermia after giving birth in a field in the middle of winter. And what do these people plan to do with all these unwanted babies? well the GOP is also busy cutting aid to food for kids so I 'm sure starvation will take care of that problem. |

There may be a silver lining to this, though. These babies will probably be born into poverty, or will be minorities, and these are the traditional stalwarts of the Democratic Party. In other news, the GOP is making it harder for the young and minorities to vote. See, they thought of everything. |

This scares the shit out of me. I mean, I've always been against making abortion illegal, but since I'M in Ohio and sexually active, this hits really close to home. I could actually be forced to have a baby that I can in no way care for.  |
