I really wanted to watch Cosmos after I saw a few episodes. To the best of my knowledge, it's not on anymore, although believe it or not, I don't really watch that much TV, so I wouldn't know. Really is a shame that we often don't appreciate people until after they're gone. Now, what is this "BHA incident"? Reportedly, one Apple computer was codenamed "Sagan" during pre-release development. This is very common practice in hardware development (Nintendo fans will remember when the GameCube and Wii were known as the Dolphin and Revolution, respectively) and the computer would not be marketed under this name. Sagan sued them for trying to make money off of his name anyway. Apple insisted that the codename was out of respect, and that since they were going to market the computer under another name, they weren't making a penny off the name "Sagan." Apple won, but changed the codename to "BHA" anyway. Sagan was pacified--until he realized that "BHA" stood for "Butt-Head Astronomer." He sued again. Guess how that worked out.

Even the smartest people occasionally make very, very stupid mistakes.

Hulu has all of Cosmos if you still want to see it. I was just re-watching it earlier today. It's the collector's edition too, so there are brief commentaries at the end of some episodes (maybe all, I'm not sure). www.hulu.com/cosmos

(It's sort of 4:30 AM right now. And if I recall, Cosmos is an hour long. Yeah. Not happenin'.)

Thank you very much Sula!
I have never been able to watch all of Cosmos before as it is rarely re-aired and the dvd set is quite expensive. Watching the first episode now, very beautiful.
