Pluto isn't a planet, unless you count dwarf planets and nobody does.

Pluto isn't a planet, unless you count Dorf planets and nobody does. To be fair, Dorf planets tend to ruin even simple tasks. With HI-LAR-IOUS hijinks, of course....

Imagine if Earth took 40 years to finish one season.

Imagine if Earth took 40 years to finish one season. Well, agriculture would be quite a bit different, that's for sure.

None of the planets obeys Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
Because the universe doesn't consist of exactly 2 bodies.

Yeah, the Sol system is one big orgy. Kinky, too, what with all the dwarf planets that were invited.

Not yet, I think. Isn't that still in dispute? Well, Bill Nye says that Pluto isn't a planet, and everyone knows that Bill Nye is infallible.

Not yet, I think. Isn't that still in dispute? Well, Bill Nye says that Pluto isn't a planet, and everyone knows that Bill Nye is infallible. I love what he said there. I also agree it's a good thing we classified it as a dwarf planet, but not ofor the same reasons. We really didn't have a good definition for a planet. More recent discoveries (Those above photos of the TNO and such make the point) bring up the poin t that "if this [Pluto] is a planet, why not these others?" It really seemed like the only reason to keep the planets as-is was tradition, since it seemed to belie a solid definition. Moar accursea r gud. Plus, if I remember right, we have discovered since its initial discovery that it's smaller than we thought it was.
