Birth control IS evil! Over here, birth control pills are covered by the government health insurance and condoms are essentially being handed out and we're all dead. Every Finn ever is gone. Poof, vanished.
Sure, the birth rates are not very high but if you bother looking back - they never have been. The population has been increasing incredibly slowly, which I think is pretty normal when the overall population is just a bit over 5 million so there aren't many people who want or can breed. Also abortion is legal.
My point is that giving someone the option not to breed doesn't mean that they will keep on not breeding their whole life. My sister was on birth control but when she and her husband decided that they want a kid she stopped popping the pills. Oh, the complexity!

BC, the comic strip? BC, the time differentiating thingy (opposite of AD)? British Columbia? Why must you be so mysterious, topic title? Because arbitrary acronyms are all the rage on the internet these days. Especially so when the user doesn't indicate what it's supposed to stand for before using it. Why yes, I do find it highly annoying.

Well, only if it was abused constantly and irresponsibly.

Stop pretending that things like "evidence" and demonstable implementation of such a plan are meaningful to a Republican. These are the guys who believe the British and Canadians must have Death Camps for their health care programs and that Steven Hawking wouldn't be alive today if he was born British.

The same folks who gave us "OMG! Obama is going to kill grandma with socialized medicine!" How those people have survived all these years is beyond me. You'd think that at some point a classic Republican/Tea partier would just asphyxiate because they forgot how to breathe. Mandatory abortions sound pretty good right about now.

With an emphasis on personal freedom and the right oto ignorance, I'm surprised we don't see mass deaths during eclipses, because these fuckers don't know the sun's going to come back in a few minutes.

Yeah. It's like they don't want to be taken seriously. It never ceases to amaze me how much media coverage the average bible humping gun nut gets when they spew their insane rants in the public. I've said it before and I'm saying it again: Obama is still not a socialist, dem libruls are not out to get you, the cold war is over and Joe McCarthy has been dead for over a half a century. Furthermore, how are taxes bad? I have a tax rate higher than most people here and I'm not complaining but that's mostly because it gets me stuff in return. I don't have to pay if I want to educate myself, for example.

I don't believe the Repubs really believe that BC will kill off the human race.
They're just saying that because they know they can't say, "We don't like BC because we don't want young people having and enjoying sex without the punishment of raising a child they aren't ready for."
