Hey, Republicans. I've got an idea for helping unemployment come down. It's called "Build another goddamn Hoover Dam (or similar) because doing shit to build infrastructure will make goods cheaper, give people jobs doing something useful and give you more shit to sell." 'Course, the GOP refuses to do anything that will actually help unemployment because there's a DEMOCRAT in the White House, and we can't have that. The far right is incapable of seeing more than five minutes into the future. They hear about plans that will have long-term benefits, yet all they can focus on is the immediate costs of getting the project going. That, and they don't actually give a fuck about the poor and unemployed. The future's comin' to get us and won't quit until we're dead unless we stop it now!!!

Come to that, the plan was to send them to the moon. Nothing about them coming back. Oh and remember to give them a film to watch. Brokeback Mountain sounds about right.

The fact that she acts as if there is any uncertainty on the subject deeply disturbs me.

The fact that she acts as if there is any uncertainty on the subject deeply disturbs me. This is how cynical I am, I look at it as a sign of improvement.

Ahh, the call of the uninformed. "'lies' of the 'experts.'"
Not everyone who's smarter than you is lying, folks.

I'm surprised she didn't make this 20 pages after the debate the other night. Seriously, she wants funding to education cut but she wants creationism taught in schools? Really?
