Huh. Well that's one way to deal with divorce.
A guy down the street from my family's home blew his brains out in the kitchen because he wife was threatening to divorce him. The wife and his two sons (one of whom would have been a senior in high school at the time and the other a sophomore) still live there. I kind of dread running into them on the street when I go home. "GVSU is great, how have you been ohshitijustaskedthati'msosorryrunaway."

He'd have been quite at home in Roman times, where the messier the suicide was, the better. Of course, this ain't Rome, and we're in a different time. Just wish the man thought of his kids before he went and got stupid like this.

So many of these stories involve the father AND kids dying, or just the kids. |

There was one over here a few years ago where the parents were divorced, so the mother killed the children (whom she had custody of) because it interfered with her new life. The courts have put her away for life. |
