A friend posted this on facebook and I found it pretty neat to play with. www.stumbleupon.com/su/1UN1CF/primaxstudio.com/stuff/scale_of_universe/As the title says, it's an interactive scale of the universe ranging from Planck length (incomprehensibly small) to the size of atoms, DNA, bacteria, entering our own daily scale with the average size of humans, various objects, and expanding outward until it hits the estimated size of the universe. Overall, it emphasizes the vastness of the world in which we live, and really, how damn remarkable all of it is. But, if nothing else, some of the measurements are interesting to see.
