Does it orbit both stars in a loop, or does it orbit one & then figure 8 into another?

The article describes it as a "wide orbit around both stars", suggesting that it's not a figure-8 orbit. While such an orbit is probably possible, I suspect it would be an exceedingly uncommon development.

A figure 8 orbit is mathematically sound, but extremely unstable. Probably any fourth bodies, or just a passing comet would suffice to throw the planet off.

But let's be honest, if we found a planet with a figure-8 orbit around two stars, there'd be a race to see who could get there and set up a resort first. Because how would that not be one of the most incredible things you could ever see?
