Would it be survivable if the gun slipped and went sufficiently non-perpendicular to the temple? I suppose it depends on the gun and ammo, but it's surprisingly common for people to flinch at the last second and blow their faces off, but remain alive. This is quite possibly the most cringe-worthy thing I've heard in a while. OW OW OW DO NOT WANT

If the chance of surviving is very slim, and I'm terminally ill, sure....I love roller coasters...it beats dying with a tube shoved up my nose...

This is creeeepy as hell.
I support euthanasia. I can imagine going by my own will someday. But with more dignity.

I totally want to go via the coaster. Best way to die, ever.

"Catastrophe at Kevorkian park: The euthanasia coaster malfunctioned today. There were numerous survivors."

If that were to happen, I'd expect it to end up on here... so everyone else could laugh.

In real life, or just pictures? Came close to the first one (neighbor) and the second one I've seen about a dozen different cases (complete with nice close-up pictures). Some were in my criminal justice classes, others were just stumbling around blindly on the internet (and rotten)

I wonder if the adrenaline from the coaster could trigger people's instincts to stay alive, so that they die not wanting to, even though if the coaster would stop they would go back to wanting to die.

Kurt Cobain (chuckles as the mention of that name causes the older users here on the forum to start thinking about the 90s again) had to shoot himself twice to get the job done. Just sayin.
