So before the trial, the judge visited the school auditorium. The school had extinguished all the light bulbs around the prayer banner (and only those around the banner) to make it look less visible, and the judge openly remarked on this ruse. Keep it classy Cranston West. He similarly was not impressed with the city's arguments from tradition, and whose arguments were sparse on case law citation.
A ruling is expected in a matter of weeks.

Every time I read about a case like this, I always come away with the image of a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum after being told "no" for the first time in his spoiled little life.
