Hm. I was under the impression that there were limitations to the level of religious discrimination even churches could apply. And yet, It looks like World Vision is just a nonprofit.
Weird.

Question: do they get any federal money at all? If so, this is illegal and morally wrong. If not, fine, but the second they ask for federal money they have to change the policy.

So cut it away then.
...But watch, they'll continue to fund this organization.

That is wrong. If you're going to be a faith base organization that excludes people outside of your beliefs, you deserve no money from our secular government. I don't care if it's Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Pastafarians, if you exclude then you get excluded from federal money. (On another note, World Visions reeks of typical 19th century missonary work anyways.)

Yeah, but they're Christians, so apparently that makes it totally okay for them to get taxpayers' money because JAYZUS.

Probably sound like a parrot, but while I think it is fine for them to turn people away based on their religion, after all, they are a non profit organization, and volunteers are always needed elsewhere, if they do, they should have any government funding cut.

Funny, I don't see any conservatives wanting to cut their funding.

That is not fair, I only did that because I thought it was a math department.

I've only heard of them because years ago, TV syndicator Worldvision Enterprises put the following disclaimer below their logo: "Not affiliated with World Vision International, a religious and charitable organization."

Ohh...that.... -looks around guiltily- Yeah... I gave Lithp some berries... it turned out they were hallucinogens. He tripped balls and thought he was in 18th Century Salem and just witnessed a girl answering a math problem..
...If it makes you feel any better...she burned like a good Christian instead of a evil godless pagan whorebride of Satan.....
