I already have: Origin of the Species, Anthropology by R.R. Marrett, Myths and Legends of Ancient Greece and Rome, The Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft (thanks to chthuluchick.com), The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, the Religion of Ancient Rome, The Republic by Plato.
I am most interested in science and history books. I've been trying to find some good anthropology books too but they seem to be hard to find.
Links to the download of the e-book you suggest will be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe Sun Tsu's Art of War is free. I'd recommend that one.

Pretty much anything in the open domain is going to have a free e-book format version of it.
Gotta love post-scarcity economics!

I actually already have Art of War. But my edition seems to be a bit weird. It's got translator's notes everywhere. I was debating getting Holmes. I have Hounds of Baskersville (a 2nd edition. It smells DELIGHTFUL! ) but I'd like to take it with me. I went through last night and grabbed a ton of history books. I also grabbed some King Arthur legends. EDIT- here is what I have so far: oi55.tinypic.com/fk00ut.jpg

I don't know if it's available anywhere as an e-book, but I'm pretty sure that TW Rolleston's "Myths of the Celtic Race" is out of copyright, and looking at your list I'd say it's right up your street. (The title varies depending on publisher - my copy says "Celtic Myths and Legends" on the front cover.)

Can anyone tell me how to convert it to put on my Nook?

Yes, that's the one. I did a bit of digging after posting yesterday, and it turns out it's on Project Gutenberg: www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/34081I'm not familiar with the Nook, but there's a whole bunch of formats there, I'm sure at least one will work!

Ah, so it is on Gutenberg. I tried to find it there but I guess I used the wrong search parameters. Thanks!
