All those people with whom I disagree should be summarily executed. All those people who have a problem with it, are legally required to suck my cock - and then be summarily executed. Michelle Bachmann, Bryan Fischer, Fred Phelps, the Gagger, etc, every single other crazy fuck, is not allowed to suck my cock, and must instead spend an eternity being killed horrifically and reincarnated for my amusement. In a large box. In the center of the largest robot gay wedding in Dougal county. For the benefit of the humans.
We're taking it, and we're giving it to the poor.
Drugs are legal, but Nicholas Sparks must agree to stop making movies.
Stupid inbred white trash, or folks of any nation, gender, creed, color, or ethnicity whose general intelligence places them at the fucking stupid level, and doesn't have a mental illness to justify it, shall be summarily and violently executed by a savage beating.
Everybody who has made it to the front page of FSTDT, RSTDT, or CSTDT, shall be flogged to death.
Mike Huckabee must eat his own eyes, for my amusement. Then the Woodland Critters must AIDS-piss in his empty eye sockets

Is that even possible? Or, you know... healthy? Possible? I think it is. I've heard that (READ: saw an episode of Law & Order SVU) it can be done for Gender Dysphoric prepubescents. Key term there being "gender dysphoric". More like anti-teenager laws. I was in high school relatively recently and I don't seem to remember a whole lot of unrestrained, unprotected anal sex going on. Sodomy laws have been used, historically, as anti-gay laws. Looking at the political climate these days, I'd say they'd still be used as such. Besides, Oral Sex has just about the lowest transmission rate of STIs so your thesis there doesn't hold. No more unhealthy than a sex change operation. A sex change operation and the attendant hormone therapies are fucking medical treatments for a serious psychological issue. Apply the principles of that treatment to everyone would be insane. Not just unpopular, completely bug fuck insane. Halting puberty in all young people would wreak untold havoc, physical and psychological, upon our civilization for years to come.

Great, now you guys have turned this board with great potential into a joke.
I guess I better save it now.
Make the Metric System and SI the only units allowed. WTF is this 12 inches in 1 foot, 5280 feet in a mile 16 oz in a lb crap?
Also change the language so that numbers 11-19 will be ten-one, ten-two, the-three, to not confuse children. Sounds silly? Well that's what Asians do and that's why their math is so much better than ours.
Have schools teach a 2nd language, preferrable Spanish, German, Japanese, or Mandarin
Have schools teach martial arts/defense classes. Better than sports.
Teach kids early about the scientific method, pseudoscience, peer review, etc. I didn't learn this stuff until I was in 8-9 grade and it got me was confused.
Also teach them stats, and higher level mathmatics.
Sterilize the homeless and dangerous criminals.
Ban conscription. If someone doesn't want to join the army, they'll do a crappy job when they do.
Ban segregated bathrooms.
Demagogs are to be taken off the radio. Bye bye Glenn Beck.
"Besides, Oral Sex has just about the lowest transmission rate of STIs so your thesis there doesn't hold."
That's not what I heard. Anyways, if that's true, then don't count oral as sodomy.
"Sodomy laws have been used, historically, as anti-gay laws"
Which is odd since more straight people have sodomy, and the only type of sex exclusive to gay people (scissoring, swordfighting) aren't considered sodomy. And I'm pretty sure the STI transmission is much lower than oral.
"Apply the principles of that treatment to everyone would be insane"
Hence "opt out." I don't want this to be compulsory.

No more unhealthy than a sex change operation. That's not the same thing as a sex change. Hormone blockers prevent puberty from happening at all, yes, but then you start taking hormones again to go through puberty as your assigned gender. There's no opt-out, it's just a trade-off.

Conscription is a good idea in wartime. I think that the media should have a rugby-like judiciary, which is to say a quick-moving, semi-formal and cheap legal system which gives you your day in court before making it's decision on the same day. All appealable, of course. This system should have the power to make minor punishments- temporarily firing a journalist or editor, fining them a percentage of the money they got to write a false article. For repeat offenders, their article or TV story should be covered with logos like 'FALSE', 'BIASED' or 'RACIST LIES' in the by-line, headline or masthead. I believe multiculturalism as practiced in Australia and countries with similar systems face major identity crises in the near to mid future (Note well, it is the cultural aspect here I take issue with, rather than the racial issue some may infer). I think that's a pile of crap. Multiculturalism merely says that everyone has a right to wear, eat or think whatever they want. Usually*, the people who oppose multiculturalism want to outlaw other people's cultural practices out of a love of tyranny. *And I'm not accusing you of this, because I haven't heard your case yet. I think immigrants to Australia should be treated the same whether they arrive by plane or by boat. Seriously the numbers we are talking about are fucking insignificant in the scheme of things and we are unecessarily demonising and dehuminizing a section of the community. Hold them in detention long enough to make sure they aren't a risk (by way of a quick backround check and TB/HIV tests) then release them into the community with reporting and work obligations. Make it a condition of any resulting visa that they must work in a regional area for at least 2 years. As proven by our popular, Nazi-like* desire to punish and abuse the victims of the world's worst people for fleeing that persecution, Australians have been turned into utter monsters- spoilt by too much prosperity won at too little cost. We should get the fuck over ourselves. Asylum policy alone showed John Howard to be a terrible Prime Minister. I mean terrible in it's originall term: 'destructive'. Nuclear power is too expensive, too slow to set up, not renewable, too inefficient and too dangerous to make it a better bet than solar, even though that nuclear energy has recieved several orders of magnitude more R and D spending on it. If we cut all spending on nuke energy and spent it all on solar, all human energy problems would be solved inside the decade. * Bugger you. Sometimes godwins have to be dropped.

Before any Politician sends an army to war, said politican must enlist as a private soldier in one of the regiments being sent to fight.

Well , if you go through puberty and screw up your voice, dacial features, body fat, crotch size, there's no going back. At least you'll be taller when you start (if they decide to start). And if they decide to stop in their mid teens, they'll go through puberty normally. Before any Politician sends an army to war, said politican must enlist as a private soldier in one of the regiments being sent to fight. Kind og like Alexander the Great, Washington, and Napoleon. Great feeling I tell you, no more chickenhawks!

[ell , if you go through puberty and screw up your voice, dacial features, body fat, crotch size, there's no going back. At least you'll be taller when you start (if they decide to start). .....That's called becoming adult. And d lot more happens at puberty than that. Halting or delaying your body's development into adulthood beyond necessity would be...bad. Very bad.

Homeothapists should be taken out back and shot. Nobody without a medical degree should be allowed to claim to be able to cure disease. Medical degrees should be much easier to get. All medical-frauds (homeopathy, acupuncture and so on) should be banned until they can be proven to work. Anyone who claims they can before they are legalised should be prosecuted for aggravated fraud.

There should be some sort of fast track for nurses to become qualified doctors. It's rather surprising nothing of the sort is in place already actually, considering it seems like a pretty natural progression.

Great, now you guys have turned this board with great potential into a joke. The only "great potential" this thread has had was to turn into a troll-fest, flame-war, or joking ridiculousness. I know it's not what Wykked Wytch intended by creating it, which is why I haven't locked the thread yet. Oh, and Lexikon, convince me you're not trolling.

That's not fair, if we go by this standard, I can never be the craziest person in the thread!
The context is that there was an article about estranged relatives meeting, getting it on, & being sent to jail in...the UK, or something. Cestle happened all over that board & basically said "incest is wrong in all instances because it's harmful under certain conditions & besides that's the way we've always done it." Most people were in favor of allowing consenting adults to practice incest. Not necessarily because they approve so much as because, you know, consenting adults.

We have a massive demand for new doctors, and we're restricting supply. Are we really saying that it's better to have no doctor rather than someone who only got an OP2? It should be 1) much easier to get straight into medicine from school, there should be 2) many more places and the course should be 3) much shorter, so that doctors can get into the industry as quickly as possible. 4) There should be far less broad knowledge learnt by the average medicine student and more emphasis on division of labour early on. 5) Easier medical jobs- like surgery, which is pretty much manual labour- should be even easier to get into.

1. Homeopathy, acupuncture, faith healing, etc. should never be funded by state-sponsored healthcare, but they should be heavily regulated.
2. Circumcision of children should be illegal, no exceptions. When the children reach the legal age, they will be allowed to get circumcised. Like quack medicine, it will not be funded by the government, but it will be heavily regulated. It will be treated as a cosmetic surgery.
3. "Gender Dysmorphic Disorder" (read: Transsexuality) should be removed from the DSM. It is not a mental illness. The only reason the people who have it suffer is because they were born into the wrong body, yet everyone keeps telling them they are freaks for wanting to express on the outside what they feel on the inside.
4. Part of this healthcare will involve helping drug addicts get off their drugs if they want to. This will involve giving heroin to heroin addicts, which will reduce the crime rate by giving them less of an incentive to commit crimes for money.
5. Incestuous marriage, polygamous marriage, and gay marriage should be allowed as long as all parties involved consent and are of legal age (in my country, 18).
6. Pedophilia is not a problem unless the pedophile in question is a child molester. Furthermore, child porn that depicts fictional children (i.e., animated or written, not real) should be legal.
7. Religious believers (and fundamentalists!) are not necessarily stupid, nor are they deserving of castration/imprisonment/mandatory therapy/forced deconversion/extermination/etc. If you were born into a family and culture that emphasized those values, under the same life circumstances as them, you'd probably be just like them.
8. This thread has devolved into a clusterfuck of totalitarian bullshit, most of which I'm sure you would never actually vote for on a ballot.
