In honour of All Hallows' Eve, I thought it might be fun if we shared some Halloween & Horror themed flash/browser games with each other. A few I've enjoyed:
Poltergifts: A crossover between Halloween and Christmas. It's your typical "survive the invasion" game where you earn points to buy weapons upgrades, but it's fun all the same.
Road of the Dead: You play a magnificent bastard who is dead set on escaping from a quarantined city after a zombie outbreak, with the military attempting to kill you as you go. A driving game where you earn points for vehicle upgrades by mowing down zombies & military officers, avoiding innocent bystanders, and surviving the dangers around you. Lovably gruesome.
The Being One series: A mash-up between sci-fi and horror, two genres which compliment one another quite nicely. A point and click adventure/escape/puzzle game where you wake up as a science experiment in the depths of a top secret facility and make your way up through each level of the lab, encountering horrific creatures and the aftermath of various bloodbaths as you try to unravel the mystery of your existence & escape from the facility.
Ghostscape and Ghostscape 2: While neither game is particularly challenging, they're still rather entertaining. As a paranormal investigator, you must capture supernatural phenomena on camera, collect evidence, solve puzzles and perform a ritual to complete the game.
Rebuild & Rebuild 2: Sim City from hell. Set after the internet's favourite form of Armageddon -- the zombie outbreak. A simulation/management style game where you, as the leader of a band of survivors, attempt to recruit people to your group, and assign your trusty companions to kill zombies, scavenge for supplies, reclaim land and construct needed buildings.
So, anyone else have any suggestions?
