According to Jesus, you couldn't be a follower of his unless you discarded all your possessions and left your family. So I'm pretty sure that there are no Republicans who fit this mold...certainly no GOP politicians. If cheating on their spouses counts as leaving their families, then most of 'em are halfway there!

I know that there are people who are not Fundamentalists or Republicans who are Christian, but in the end there are very good reasons for me not to like Christianity in general.
1. America is a British Colony. (THE UNITED STATES IS A CORPORATION, NOT A LAND MASS AND IT EXISTED BEFORE THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND THE BRITISH TROOPS DID NOT LEAVE UNTIL 1796.) Respublica v. Sweers 1 Dallas 43, Treaty of Commerce 8 Stat 116, The Society for Propagating the Gospel, &c. V. New Haven 8 Wheat 464, Treaty of Peace 8 Stat 80, IRS Publication 6209, Articles of Association October 20, 1774.)
2. A 1040 form is for tribute paid to Britain. (IRS Publication 6209)
3. Britain is owned by the Vatican. (Treaty of 1213)
4. The Pope can abolish any law in the United States. (Elements of Ecclesiastical Law Vol.1 53-54)
5. The Pope claims to own the entire planet through the laws of conquest and discovery. (Papal Bulls of 1455 and 1493)
6. The Pope has ordered the genocide and enslavement of millions of people. (Papal Bulls of 1455 and 1493)
7. The Pope's laws are obligatory on everyone. (Bened. XIV., De Syn. Dioec, lib, ix., c. vii., n. 4. Prati, 1844)(Syllabus, prop 28, 29, 44)

LOL! I'd love to see the Vatican try and enforce any of that in this day and age.

In the sick, demented and corrupt Catholic church having more money than any other entity on the planet and getting away with raping toddlers on a regular basis sense; the Pope gets his way more often than not.

(They're all superceded and/or are internal memos that carry no weight outside the church proof that everything is controlled by the church, which is itself controlled by space aliens that want to harvest our bodies for energy.)
