Can anyone tell me what the hell causes hot flashes in a 28 year old woman? Seriously, they've been hitting me out of the blue for no reason whatsoever for the past two frickin' weeks. Otherwise I feel perfectly fine, but these damn hot flashes are pissing me off when I'm on the brink of sleep only to have one frickin' hit me and wake me up!
Any clue on possible causes? Or even better, anyone know of any ways to relieve hot flashes?? Before I go insane and simply jump into a cold shower and give myself pneumonia?

Well, getting in to see a normal doctor at a walk in clinic isn't TOO bad, but when it comes to making appointments with people like gynecologists... I could be looking at a month or two waiting period.
