A cake shop owner demonstrated her disapproval of gay marriage by refusing to supply cake for a lesbian couple. Do small minded dimwits like this actually imagine that by refusing to accept gay peoples money they will have any effect whatsoever on gay marriage? The couple were going to get married anyway, they'll just go and buy a different cake!

That's some great PR you got there. Equivalent to shooting yourself in the foot.

That article's not biased at all. Even if she was polite or whatever, I say, good on her. It sounds petty (if untrue) at first, but then you figure, if you need to make your "disapproval" of someone's "lifestyle" a public show, you really only deserve to get it right back. And then if you're pissed off that people are treating you like dirt because of something that was revealed about you, well maybe you should figure other people feel the same way.

Maybe you should read you're bible. Jesus surrounded himself with "sinners." And I'm sure a few of them were gay.
Also, I think carpender Jesus would have made furniture for gay people. I mean, this is a guy that appointed a tax collector as one of his followers and let a prostitute wash his feet. He didn't seem like the type of person to turn people away for petty reasons.

Do as he kind of sort of says, not as he does.

First a wedding dress is denied a lesbian couple on religious grounds, now a ruddy cake. Geeze.

This makes me want to open a business that sells all manner of wedding-related stuff like cakes, dresses/tuxes, invitations, etc. just to pick up the business that these Bible-banging dillweeds refuse. I'd make a pretty good living. Maybe I could call it Bigotry-Free Bridal.

If that happened in my store, people would've gotten fired, and I live in the Bible Belt.

that's cos the queers already got to your boss vypernight. He's not a true Christian. No true Christian would fire their True Christian employees for denying service to a bunch of homos.
