Okay, so I installed Ubuntu with a partition of about 150 gb and gave Windows the other 350 gb. Now, I haven't used Ubuntu much so I deleted the partition (I liked it, but I often use XP just to play games plus it had a few issues that I probably could have fixed.) So I now have a large amount of free space on my HDD, but it isn't being used by the C: partition. How can I expand the C: partition to utilize all my new free space?

1.) Right click on My Computer, then scroll down and click manage. 2.) Click on disk management. 3.) Right-click on the C: partition, then click Extend Volume.
I think after that it takes you into a wizard or something and it should be self explanitory.
I think.

I don't think you can actually extend the primary partition that way. I know it works with other partitions, but for the primary one, where Windows is installed, I don't think it does. It's been a while since I tried, so I could be wrong.
Also, have you made sure you've reformatted the ex-Ubuntu partition to a format that Windows recognizes? That can be done through the disk manager that NoLeafClover explained how to get to.

I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure a GParted livedisc would allow you to do just that.
