I am taking a class on PHP/MySQL right now, and I am working on the final project. I have run into a bug that, for the life of me, I cannot figure out. I have been fighting with this single problem for the past two days, and I am at my wit's end.
I have asked the teacher for assistance, but he won't do anything because it is the final project.
I would not be too concerned, since I am doing extremely well as it is in the course, except for two things: The final project takes up 1/4 of the total grade, and the final project is all-or-none (meaning if it works right, we get all the points, and if it doesn't work right, we get no points). So even if a person were to get perfect scores on everything else, if they had a defunct final project, they would walk away with a C.
Is there anybody here who is knowledgeable about PHP and MySQL who could take a look at my code? I'm not asking for the answer, I just need a definite place to start looking. The project is mostly completed, other than this one bug, but I am at a loss as to what is causing the bug.
Even something as simple as "this page doesn't look quite right" would be a massive help. I've just been staring at it for too long, and need a break to get some fresh eyes to look at it, but I don't have time to freshen up my eyes now.
Anybody around with such knowledge that I could chat with a bit?

Well, what's the bug?
I may not know those languages, but I may be able to wrangle the concept as I've used a lot of similar stuff.

I'd be more than happy to look at your code. Please describe the bug and post the offending lines of code (don't post the entire file).

I finally got it fixed, after rewriting it bit by bit, but I do thank you both for responding. And Yahweh, that was my problem... I didn't know where it was at the time. I had a general idea, but that spanned about 600 lines of code. That's why I was hoping there may have been a PHP guru around that would be know a problem when they saw it.

I couldn't get my head round the way PHP handles html and javascript. Oh and the way you can store strings, numbers, arrays etc as variables without declaring a data type. It's all very confusing to me
