I know a lot of people on the forum don't visit the front page, so I thought I should bring this to your attention. I'll highlight in bold the very thing we knew was just a matter of time.

Liberal hypocrisy re: George Tiller's murder - Today, 01:44 PM
For years, the liberals have tried to reach out to gang members to try and show them a better way to live. To give them opportunities to make it in a life that is not one of violence.

For years, the liberals have tried to reach out to drug dealers and drug users to try and show them a better way to live. To give them help, hope and support to leave their destructive lifestyles.

For years, liberals in the church have reached out to adulterers and other sinners to 'accept them as they are', show forgiveness, and provide restoration through 'divorce workshops' and the like.

For years, liberals have reached out to criminals in this and other countries to open up 'talks' and 'communication' to better understand each other.

SO, NOW PRO-LIFERS ARE BEING CALLED DOMESTIC TERRORISTS? The liberals have been after us for years, trying to get us locked up for supposed insanity, 'violent' nature, and illegal behavior. THEY WANT US LOCKED UP! THEY WANT TO TAKE AWAY OUR KIDS.

Where are our 'talks'? Where's the liberals? Why aren't they reaching out to us in kindness to 'show us a better way' and present 'opportunities to move up in society' and become better people?

That stuff doesn't exist. Do I need to detail the violence and crime against pro-lifers over the years? Dare I say that the God given rights of living persons over the last 42 years have been violated in more way than can be documented?

(Keep in mind after reading my post that I do not consider Scott Roeder and Steve Wetzel from mttu.com as part of our movement. They are not truly pro-life. This is directed at the liberals who think that Roeder and Wetzel are part of us.)

Yeah, this, unfortunately, was seen coming miles off. The persecution complex goes into overdrive again and all the nutters start to pop up. If society was smart we'd start putting people in psych wards when this would happen.

Except Regan closed all the psych wards. They're so much better off being free to follow their invisible friends (and vote Republican).

I know a few fundies who spend a few weeks in the mental hospital a couple of times a year just to get "tuned-up". Maybe they need to be in there longer. But on the other hand, I've been taking a workshop on dealing with anxiety and I'm the only non-Christian in there. Prayer comes up as a 'useful' tool repeatedly. I spoke out once, and was shut down very quickly.

Yeah, but what are you supposed to do when the facts don't line up with, or disprove, your way of thinking? Accept and grow? Ha! Incorporate said facts and create a viewpoint that is still your own yet recognizes the world around us? Don't make me laugh.

True, while a rational person would step back and say "Wow, never knew that, i'll have to remember it" it seems the fundies say "Damn, ok, how can I make this sound like what I want and think".
I think it's just the random stuff that gets me, you can make a post that says the sky is blue and one fundie could say it's purple, then the arguement goes on and on and on and on while they twist, ignore and skip any proof you offer.
They can't even seem to admit being wrong when backed into a corner on an issue. Though I blame the "All or nothing" mindset of theirs on that. "If someone's wrong now, they've always been and will be wrong" type thinking

Yes. Pro lifers who have committed acts of domestic terrorism and/or aided acts of domestic terrorism.

This nuance seems to lost on the fundies, since their Jiha...Errr...Crusades are okay, but it's worth noting. When you blow up buildings or shoot people to enact some sort of change in society, using terror as your primary weapon, you're, you know...A terrorist.
