I found out yesterday that two lumps she had found are both cancerous. At this point I don't know anything else. She is going back to talk to the doctors in the next couple of days and I might know more. From what I gather she at the least will lose both breasts.
My Aunt very much hold my family, the side in Florida, together. Hell with out her they would be more lost then they are now. As it is she has one of my 2nd cousins, her grand daughter, and her baby living with them. Why, because my cousins mother has two younger girls to take care of from her 2nd and 3rd marriage.
The other cousins are a fucking mess as well. It is not uncommon to have my Aunt feeding one or more of her children, grand children and great grand children on any given night.
If these idiots don't back off and learn to fend for them selfs really quick I'm going to.......
....I don't know. If I start screaming at people it will cause more stress.
At best my wife and I can only help out a lot more.
I wish I could just take my Aunt away from everyone else and let her deal with this and get better. I can't, damn it. I don't know what to do, or what to feel at this point. I know that I don't think I could go to her funeral.

((((m52))))
I know it seems hard. The best thing you can do is always be a rock for your aunt.

I'm really sorry, nick. I hope surgery goes well, and that the cancer hasn't spread any more. I've had several cases of cancer in my family, I know how helpless it makes you feel.

Eep! Sorry to hear about the bad news, I hope that your aunt can get treatment, and that the treatment works for her.

((m52))
I hope she beats it. My grandma managed to, and she's 86(ish) now.

(((m52))) Breast cancer sucks. Well, all cancer sucks, but my thoughts are with you and your family at this time. My grandmother was diagnosed 6 years ago and had both breasts removed. So far it she has been lucky and it has not returned. She is often sick because of the medications she is taking but she stays positive and even jokes about it some times. Hopefully things will well for your aunt.
