Uhhh, yeah. I think I found this link through a Pharyngula post, which I found through a link somewhere on the FSTDT boards, but correct me if someone's already posted about this... www.catholicleague.com/release.php?id=1616"Yeah, well, kissing and spying on defenseless kids is bad, BUT IT ISN'T RAPE! THAT TRIVIALIZES THE DEFINITION OF RAPE! And it's wrong to blame the priests for doing this because only 12% of the abusers were 'true' priests." On that note, can anyone explain the difference between a Brother and a priest to me? I'm woefully undereducated about non-Protestants.

Priests can say Mass and administer sacraments.
The Donohue comment is unbelievably lame.

Wouldn't “inappropriate fondling and contact” with a child be molestation?

The same man who said he couldn't imagine anything "more vile" than PZ mocking a cracker, defends child abuse and tells a rape victim to "shut up".

Priests can say Mass and administer sacraments. Many thanks! *takes note* But those are the only differences? WTF? The Donohue comment is unbelievably lame. This is Donohue. Parody or straight quoting will, by association, suck goat balls. Wouldn't “inappropriate fondling and contact” with a child be molestation? Yes, it is...my issue is not with properly defining what's rape and what's molestation, it's with Donohue claiming that comparing molestation to rape, or accidentally using the word rape to describe it, 'trivializes' actual, penetrative rape. This indicates that Donohue may think molestation is just a little touching and not serious or harmful.
