When I read throught that list, the Bush administration was guilty on all counts, with the possible exceptions of number 5, 11 and 14.
My irony meter is severely damaged.

Sounds an awful lot like Bush and Reagan to me. I mean, that damn negro Obama is taking every last thing we got!

It seems to me that Political Derangement Syndrome is now a paint-by-numbers phenomenon.
As in [Sitting president's name] Derangement Syndrome.
1-20-13: End of An Error, ------> this time it's about "Birther" bullshit
"Obamabot" "Drink the kool-aid", etc.
And now they are concerned about civil liberties.

I don't think "stupidity" is the right descriptor. I don't think English has terms adequate enough to describe the odd mental gymnastics some people seem to do in order to stay (relatively) sane.

This very list was presented over on CARM at least a half dozen times in the last two years as an attempted attack on Bush, and every one of them tried to brush it off. I'm tempted to post it now to see what they think of it, or more approriately, if they remember what they thought of it.

to be fair, none of them have explicitly made the connection between the list and any of Obama's acts
someone said, "Looks like we're already there," which in certain respects, is true

I mean, seriously, they have an entire forum devoted to paranoid conspiracy theories about how government is trying to take over our lives, but they'll bend over backwards to justify everything Bush did to take away our civil liberties. IOKIYAR, I guess.
