For those familiar with photography...
I haven't been able to get it online, but I just got a pic back that was taken of me at an anniversary lunch for my job. The picture is of me and the Regional Director.
Anyways, the weird thing is, I have the 'red eyes,' but the RD doesn't. Also, no one who got their pictures back got red eyes either, just me. Is there a reason only my eyes would show up as red and no one else's?
Okay, the theory that I'm a devil-spawn has already been passed around work. It's weird because last year when we went to Disney, I had my fiancee take my picture in front of the Haunted Mansion next to a horse-drawn hearse. I had my cap over my heart and my head down (yeah, I'm a smart@$$). Anyways, when the picture was developed, we noticed what looks like an old man's face in the reflection of the hearse's window (and no, no one was around me at the time). I insisted that it was really a reflection of a nearby lamp that just resembled a face, but it still looked cool.
I just added that because it seems to be a trend with me and pictures lately. Bummer that picture of my saluting Darth Vader never came out.
Anyways, if anyone can shed some light on what might have caused the red eyes in the picture (and the fact that it only showed up in my eyes), I'd appreciate it.
Thanks and take care,
Jay

Could be a couple of things. The red-eye is the flash reflecting through the blood on the retina. It can be reduced by cutting out how much light gets in. Less light, less reflection. Maybe your pupil dilated more than anyone else's.
It also may be that your eyes were looking left or right a little, preventing the light from getting to your retina.
Either way, it's easy to get rid of with a rudimentary photo editor.

Thanks, although I don't want to remove them (I like the 'evil' look). I was just curious as to what caused them in only me. The fact that I didn't want to be there because I was one of the few in work clothes and not dressed up (I had forgotten about it) probably helped a little. That's probably why I wasn't looking directly at the camera.
Thanks again and take care,
Jay
