Looks like I'm the odd one out. I actually rather like bugs, except certain kinds (hornets or cockroaches) or when they're somewhere they shouldn't be (my bed, my food).
A few fears I do have:
-Needles and sharp objects. This doesn't really interfere with my life, but it's probably the #1 reason I have a baton instead of a knife. -Fungi of any type. I'm fine with them when they're packaged for food, but when they're growing out in the wild, I avoid them. There's just something creepy about them - the way they grow, the way they spread. -Yeah, I'm a germophobe. The guy who uses paper towels to open bathroom doors and uses up hand sanitizer ridiculously fast? That's me. -Dogs. Got attacked twice when I was young, both at my grandma's. If I'm on a walk and I see a dog coming towards me, I will haul ass outta there. If a friend's dog comes to greet me when I go to the friend's house, I won't step foot out of my car until the friend comes to keep the dog busy.

When I was young I was deathly afraid of boats. I thought that even in fresh water they would sink and I'd be eaten by sharks.
I have a picture around here somewhere of me screaming my head off on a boat while sitting in my dad's lap.

Oh, and hammerhead sharks. I have panic attacks in swimming pools from time to time because the patterns of tiles make me think of hammerhead sharks.
I am starting to get over my terror of injections, though that's mostly through practice and not because they're conceptually any less scary. Air embolisms! When I was younger, I was scared of Animal from the Muppets.

Hades, what's wrong with Tina Turner's hair? She's freaking hot and I think part of that's the hair. Nothing's wrong with her hair. I was very young and I don't even remember this fear. I'm taking my moms word for it.

Speaking of fears we have to take our mother's words about....
I was afraid of grass when I was a baby. Naturally I don't remember this at all because I was a toddler, but my mother swears up and down that I was TERRIFIED of grass--or rather, the feeling of it. I could sit on a blanket ON the grass just fine, but if anybody tried to put me down on the grass itself, I'd lift my feet up and desperately try not to touch it. And then I'd scream and cry.
I have no idea how true this is.

....................................................................freshwater sharks? Ironbite-well all you have to really worry bout is landsharks. I was very young and heard about Jaws. I didn't understand the concept of fresh and salt water. Water was water. And that goddamn landshark keeps knocking on my door. But I got a surprise for him next time he comes around.

Landshark knocks on my door as well. He tells me he's a plumber, then when I say "what?", he tells me he has a Candygram for me. I almost fell for it once. Once.

When I was younger, I was scared of Animal from the Muppets. Wow I was afraid of The Mask from The Mask, and I did not take kindly to the scrubbing bubbles mascot. Epically after it goes down the drain

The only one I can think of ATM is electric shocks of any kind. I'll even go to insane lengths to avoid static electricity like the plague and I HATE those gag pens that zap you when you try and use them. Electricity itself I have no problem with, in fact I love the stuff as a means of getting energy out of coal and into my electronics, but I just can't stand getting zapped.
