It's right on the line between good and shit. Good Shit, if you will. It's just vintage kinetic Raimi comedy-horror, like being stuck in a dark room with a bunch of over-caffeinated children waiting to jump out and say "Boo!". You know the scares are coming, but rarely precisely when or how you expected.
Its neither big, nor clever, but it's a hell of a lot of fun.

Last couple of movies I saw: Where The Wild Things Are: pretty good movie, only complaint is that I think the kid in it was a little too old for the part. Face In The Crowd(1957): If you watch this film, you will understand why Keith Olberman calls Glenn Beck " Lonesome Rhodes". Bed Of Roses(1933): pretty good pre-code, I enjoyed it.

Nightmare on Elm Street (watched it again after several years, because I'm so happy about the fact that the remake's coming to theaters in April 2010), and Children of Men, which I'd never seen before. Thought that one was pretty good....

What utter crap. Too bad it couldn't have been faithful to the (awesome) comics.

Finished god damn mother-and-father fucking Fight Club. Do you know what it's like to have a caffeine buzz wear off when you're watching that movie? It's pretty fucking draining! I need sleep...
Seriously though, Fight Club was great.

Wow, darthtoxic, you seem to love terrible movies. Ever seen Barb Wire? Yeah, I love cinematic garbage. No, I haven't seen that, but I know it by reputation. Anyway... It was pretty cool... Not as good as its semi-remake, Slither, though.
