Whoa, this thread's grown two pages since last night. I guess we like embarrassing ourselves... I watched a lot of Disney movies when I was a kid. I'd watch them over and over and over again - I don't know why - but I recently rediscovered this crazy little scene from Dumbo, and me and my brother both agreed that it could possibly be the source of any number of mental health problems we have today. Yes, it is the pink elephant song. I honestly don't believe that scene was inspired by alcohol. It has to be something stronger, like crack or LSD.

I shamefully confess...
That I write RPG fanfiction, play text-based MUDs, enjoyed 'Elektra', hated Jane Austen, and read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' without crying once.

I enjoyed Elektra too but it was all about seeing Jennifer Garner in tight clothing. I'd do some very bizarre and disturbing things with that woman (all consentual of course) despite her popping out two spawn of Ben Affleck.

You can get really bad hallucinations from alcohol no problem. Used to be known as "the horrors" but better known as the delerium tremens. Re Disney, I like the crows singing. Love love love that early Disney.

And I still watch cartoons.

I enjoy Michael Jackson's music... (Yes, I know, going to Hell, save me a window seat, plz.) Considering that he can still sell out shows, you are not the only one. I think he's weird, but you can't deny that he is (or was once) a talented artist. I still like a lot of his music, but hey, I also like some of Celine Dion's songs so maybe I'll have to fight you for that window seat.

To set things in perspectice: I'm a white heterosexual male, married, I'm 6'2'' and 280 lbs. with a ponytail that goes halfway down my back and a full beard. With that being said, I LOVE BUFFY! And Alison Hannigan (sp?) is fucking hot. I like fedoras. And the second movie I ever remember watching, when I was about 8 years old, was Homeward Bound, and I cried at the end when the cat and dogs got back home, especially the Golden Retriever, Chance, I think was his name. I just recently watched it again with my 3 year old daughter, and I realized that I still cry a little at that part. I never really liked D&D (but I still played it some), but I love White Wolf's games, especially Vampire: The Masquerade. Me and my friends used to sit around every night after work and play that for hours, and that went on for about 3-4 years, and we still played it at least once a week after that. Then they went and fucked it up with Requiem or whatever in the hell it's called.

I listen to Pat Boone's In a Metal Mood, but that might be down to pure masochism. My phone's ring tone is Leonard Nimoy singing The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.

And he's ... creepy. But very much talented! Back to the confessions... I cry every time I hear "Memory".EDIT: Hey, guise, how do I embed the video, as done above for teh Pink Elephants?

I'm a published novelist - but that doesn't stop me from writing Harry Potter fanfiction.
I really do not understand rap. (And, yo, mofo, I checked it out...)
I cannot tolerate intolerant people.
I enjoy a nice game of Boticelli.
I believe there is much truth in the Big Bang Theory - both actual theory and the TV show.

I've written some fan fiction for Star Wars that people really seemed to like.
I like writing poetry.
I've written porno short stories, usually lesbian because I don't like picturing the guy in it.
I like pro wrestling, well the wrestling part, not the stupid storylines.
I hate cake and ice cream (posting this because I always seem to get weird reactions from people)
I love croutons, but I hate stuffing.
I love poetry and art.
I own several Disney movies (I love Hunchback and Mulan).
In addition to my relaxing heavy metal, I also enjoy listening to Avril, Roxette, and Dan Hill.
And in a confession that would get me kicked off this board if possible:
I hate cats and think they should only exist as food for dogs.(I've had bad experiences with cats in the past, and now I'm suddenly allergic to the #%#@@ things!)
Take care,
Jay

I DO write Transformers fanfic, no point in denying it Don't let Skyfail's fail-filled forays into the field color your perception of all of us. And, yes, some of it has been porny - but no outright smut and no godsdamned sticky-fic where they're nothing but giant humans in armor doing the "stick Penis A in Vagina B, pop out robo-baby nine months later" thing. I like to think I'm more creative than THAT. (And my female characters? Are more than just meek little subservient wifeys and mommies and domestic servants who give up everything in order to do nothing but stay at home and cook, clean, and have babies for their mastershusbands.) I do fanart, too. Go, me. I also play in board- and chat-based RPs with other fans. It's (usually) great fun, if a bit cracktastic or drama-filled at times.
