Found someone else's thread around here about there being fairly few polls, and decided to rectify it. Unfortunately I had no real question to ask, so here's this random bullshit instead.
Also, I campaigned for polls, so I should do more of them.

I decided this poll the only fair way:
Eenie Meenie Miney Moe.

I chose Shanghai, 2027, because there's an actual chance I can be there for whatever happens.

I didn't want anyone to feel left out, so I voted for the three that didn't have any votes.

I voted for Japan and China, because one's in the future and the other's Japan.

I chose Shanghai, 2027, because there's an actual chance I can be there for whatever happens. Same here, one of my various plans for the future does involve teaching English in China, so I may yet see Shanghai, 2027

I have an ambition to work in Shanghai, so I might actually be there in 18 years.

I chose Mecca, 1133, because it was at the height of Arab civilization--arts, culture, science--before the extremist fanatics ruined Islam for everybody. Plus, harem girls. Lots and lots of beautiful harem girls. (Hey, technically only men weren't allowed to see someone else's harem unveiled. As a woman, I'm in the clear.)

I voted for Tokyo, 1999, because I was actually there then. I spent New Year's Eve that year in Shibuya, and then hopped onto a train to get out of the city and watch the first sunrise of 2000. Good times.

Shanghai, China, 2027 - Because I could conceiveably be there at the given date if I really wanted to. London, UK, 1857 - Only if I was living in the fashionable part of London and in high society. Otherwise, no. New York, USA, 1956 - Broadway! Tokyo, Japan, 1999 - Just because.
