If you ever check out the true history of christianity, you will see that "christian pacifist" is the oxymoron of all time. I don`t believe that until 400AD, when Constantine decided to make Christianity state religion, that it was a conqueror`s religion. Until then, I am pretty sure they were wanted by the Jewish establishment for heresy.

Wow, I impressed a theologian? Cool. Always at your service. On average, Christianity has been directly responsible for the needless deaths of 1630 innocent people per day since the 4th century. Satanism was bourne directly out of the excesses of enforced christianity, but the fundmentalists dispute this (of course) Satanism actually makes sense, too, which also pisses off the religious Reich.

I want to punch Andy in the face, but I can't. I am a Christian and therefore a pacifist. So I'll just have to content myself with being really, really mad at him. If you ever check out the true history of christianity, you will see that "christian pacifist" is the oxymoron of all time. I know perfectly well what Christians have done in the past and continue to do in the present. They are wrong.

I know perfectly well what Christians have done in the past and continue to do in the present. They are wrong. It also doesn't change what you do. As long as you are Christian, and a Pacificst, it works.

Best commentary I've seen on this subject can be found here: scienceblogs.com/goodmath/2009/10/the_conservative_rewrite_of_th.phpNote: They are NOT trying to TRANSLATE the Bible, they don't speak Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic etc. They're STARTING from the King James version, and changing it to what God would have said if he wasn't such a damn Liberal.

What. The. Hell. That's not just revisionism. That's genuine blasphemy. As a religious Jew, I hereby condemn this project as HERESY. On another note, has RR said anything about this?

Revelation Chapter 22: 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anthing to these words, God will give him the troubles written about in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are written about in this book.
(I did see the 'missing 'y'' typo in 'anthing', but I wasn't about to add anything to it! LMAO)
The blog I linked to above, 'good math, bad math' is great for informed fundie bashing, even if a tad too advanced for me most times.

Call me crazy, but I find something about conservapedia's dedication to mock "liberals" (aka-everyone who isn't Rush or Glenn) doesn't quite sit right with me. Do I really believe that Jesus is concerned with Rush buying the Rams? or that that Father, Son and the Holy Ghost are more concerned with conservapedia.com/Conservapedia:American_Government_101 more than the teachings of the Bible? Now, I may not have been raised Conservapedian, but I am pretty sure that WorldNetDaily was not one of the apostles. As a side note, this was my first trip to RR today (thanks for that link) and the negative vibes that came from these people literally made it hard to breathe in. It must be so miserable to be so hateful and paranoid and delusional that everything is a sin. Seriously, these people think AA is a sin???
