Locally, socialist or UCR. In general, I have no idea, I change every other week.

Call those parties? The Troll Party is the way to go. We may not help the working class people or anyone for that matter because we'll be too busy glueing rape support group flyers on the doors of Catholic churches but we might get some support. The Troll Party: Doing if for the lulz for atleast 100 years.
But in all seriousness I'd identify more as a Democrat.

You could always vote based on chance. Flip a coin to decide who to vote for.

And if there's more than two parties?

That's what dice are for, come on Harley, show a little ingenuity. Hell, my calculator has a random number generator, that works just as well.

Including my own political party that I hope will take the political world by storm. Ironbite-HAVE AT IT AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO DISCUSS! And what would that political party happen to be? Very few things irritate me....but people starting a thread and demanding others discuss it while not starting the conversation themselves bugs the living shit out of me. anti-Stupid.

I went with anti-stupid. Went Democrat in the last election, but that's cause I want to make sure the Republicans don't get control, and there's no other viable party. I really hate having to throw my vote in just to keep the worse of two bad options out.
As for my political ideals, I'm not sure exactly where they lie. I like a lot of anarchistic principles, and wish it societal views were more in gear with them, but it won't be able to happen (at least in the US) for I don't know how many generations. I'm also for more socialising of things, especially medical care, and am not sure how much the two ideologies can mesh. Oh, and I've very anti-"free-market." Pure capitalism only leads to destruction of the world, lives, society, and of itself.

I am a registered Independent, but not registered to any independent parties. I haven't seen the one I want yet. So, I suppose I'd have to go with "anti-stupid".

Political independent. I don't identify myself with a party. I identify myself with whichever candidate is making the most sense at any given time.
My political compass, for those who are interested:
Economic Left/Right: -5.12 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.15
Pretty close to Gandhi, as it turns out.

Anti-stupid as a philsophy, not as any party. I don't support anyone based on party affiliation, just on their stance on those issues that I feel matter to the good of the country. Even if they have a stance I personally disagree with on some issue that is not going to prevent me from supporting them if overall they are the better candidate.
That said; I am extremely disappointed in the options we are presented with usually. Both parties need to wise up and become more pragmatic and less idealogical. Obama strikes me as very much a pragmatist and I have hope for his administration, I also hope he remains so and that Washington and party politics do not corrupt his stance.

Or, for that matter, down. Thought it explains why I spend my time screaming at Democrats.

The Green Party of Canada does have some loopy planks in the platform, but altogether, I like most of their policies. I've voted for them for the past 3 elections.

You're a libertarian socialistst, or something like that, if your numbers are correct.

Hmm, been a while since I took the Political Compass test...
Economic Left/Right: -8.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.64
Apparently I'm further left and libertarian than I had been last, and here I thought I was moving more centre. And now I wonder just how far those numbers can go...
