Basically, I'm curious, if anyone goes and reads a certain political blog. Truthly, I've not read much. But today found this guy. angryyoungdem.vox.com/That's all I have, so anyone know any good political blogs you read, and agree with, or find they're bearable, if they disagree with you're own political preference.

I'm a huge fan of Ed Brayton's blog Dispatches from the Culture Wars, which covers a lot of territory but includes a good deal of political and law-related content. Ed, who is politically independent, is quite intelligent and very balanced in his analyses; I don't agree with everything he says or every position he takes, but I find that I do agree with most of his comments, which are usually well supported. ~David D.G.

I mostly just read Pharyngula, which is more of a religion/science blog than a political one.

Dispatches from the Culture Wars is one of my favorite blogs to read. I especially like it because Ed is from the same area I'm from and so there is quite a bit of local content from time to time as well.

Digby's Hullabaloo: An angry, angry blogger. Writes profusely and obscenely about every subject known to politics.
Glenn Greenwald: His ugly, rambling, repetative style of prose annoys me, as does his position on drug legalisation. But, usually, he can be relied on to give good, in depth analysis of both the media and legal issues. When he briefly wrote about the Gaza Massacre earlier this year, he was able to make a much stronger criticism of the behaviour of the IDF because his Jewish decendency defended him from accusations of anti-semitism.
The Progressive Muckraker: Closest to an actual news journalist I've seen on the web.
Dispatches from the Culture Wars is good, too.
Those are the main ones.

I don't normally bother. Other people's political opinions piss me off, for the most part.
Which is why I should be in charge, but that's for another discussion entirely

While I have everyone here, talking about political blogs, is anyone familiar with www.mediaite.com/ ? It's run by Dan Abrams (of the MSNBC variety) and describes itself as a "balanced" collection of news opinions. Now, Dan Abrams made me automatically assume it was more liberal. The self-described "balanced" makes me wary. Obviously this sounds like a dumb question -- duh, read the posts and make the determination. However, 90% of those who comment on each post are of the Cluster Fox, Beck-fan variety. This perplexes me and in my moment of deer-in-the-headlights confusion I'd love someone else's take on it. (it's also only 3 months old so a Google search yielded nothing). Thanks!
