ArticleSeriously...what the flying fuck? I can understand having a dress code in school, mine had one...of course, it basically boiled down to no short skirts, no bare midriff, and no bare tits. However, this district is just getting stupid. They only recently allowed their female employees to wear open-toed shoes, and their male employees to wear facial hair. What is this, the motherfucking DARK AGES?!

*pours lighter fluid into the pit, tosses in a lit match, then pours some homemade barbecue sauce onto the common sense*
...what? I'm no Texan, but I've heard they're really into barbecued food.

I wonder if they still do things like "Teacher and Senior Auction" Our's saw several male teachers (and, of course, male students) wearing dresses. Betcha that doesn't conform to the dress code.

Mmmm... barbecued common sense. Anyway, my school bans saggy pants, which I can understand. I don't really want to see anyone's Bugs Bunny boxers (yes, I have seen that before). But skinny pants? At least skinny pants stay on your ass!

What ever happened to pants that just fit properly? lol

Nothing wrong w/ dress codes imo....
One of the points of schooling is learning how to live w/ bullshit rules that may seem like a big deal, but in reality are merely inconvenient hurdles to our individuality, something that we worship a little too intently imo.
Dress appropriately, act responsibly, and stfu.

There are dress codes, and there are unreasonable restrictions. This falls into the latter category, IMO.

If the schools devoted more time to teaching and less to blue jeans, maybe the kids wouldn't be drooling ignoramuses.
