I'm sure that Obama will somehow be blamed for a house fire in Ohio that was caused by a turkey fryer, as well as a Thanksgiving murder spree in Jupiter, Florida. Once the Rabid Right pundits and other talking heads grab this story, then I bet we'll see the spin happen. They'll make it out that Obama either caused, or allowed these tragedies to happen.

Wait. So people with AIDS are coming to get in on a health care system reform that hasn't even been passed yet and even when it does it will be years before it's implemented?!

This isn't even going into how the US doesn't allow people with HIV to come into this country. No word that that has changed.

Obama has been in office for less than two months, but leading right wing voices are demanding that Obama step up and accept responsibility for the slide in the stock market and continued declines in the banking and insurance industries. Bush handed Obama the worst deficit and debt in history, a collapsing financial sector, a deepening recession and exploding unemployment, for which he blamed Clinton. And now after six weeks on the job, Obama is the culprit, leaving Bush clear of any culpability.

Clinton gets no credit for his eight years of economic prosperity, Bush gets a pass on creating the worst crisis in generations, and Obama is to blame for everything. Is there something wrong with that story line?

The lead fairy-tale on Fox News on January 26: "The Democrats' Economic Plan is to Blame Republicans for Everything." The truly bizarre implication is that somehow that blame is not warranted. After Bush blamed everything on Clinton for eight years, the audacity of that story is beyond description. Truly breathtaking.

The Republican attempt to blame Obama for Bush's failures is a new historic low. That is like the Vatican blaming Galileo for abuses of the Inquisition. That is like being pushed off a cliff and then being blamed for not solving the problem of flight before hitting the ground. The idea is offensively absurd at every level.

The Republicans have lost their already tenuous grip on reality. They have lost the concept of shame. They have lost all pride, for nobody with any self respect could blame Obama for Bush's eight years of mismanagement. No wonder Rush Limbaugh has become the voice of the Republican Party. The patients have taken control of the Republican Asylum.

Actually, this attack was prompted by the Obama administration reversing that policy. That's what the attack is about, they're saying he reversed it to let niggers people from other countries with AIDS to come over here and get Obamaramacare. Even though that makes no sense whatsoever.

Oh, believe me, I know what it's like to want to open fire on my family during the holidays. But it's only the crazy nutjobs who follow through on it.

Well, today is the day after Black Friday, I just got up so I still have yet to check out Fark to see what kind of Black Friday-related disasters have been reported upon. It's amazing how people can turn into mindless stampeding cattle over prices that really aren't all that much better than the regular price. Then again, that's rampant consumerism for you. If there is something I really want, I tend to just order it online, and it ends up cheaper that way.
